Composition... Centred Horizons

This image has so many wonderful elements the subtle reflections, the muted autumn colours and the variations of weather throughout the image all tell their own story with the low lying clouds and mist and that stunning patch of light leading my eye along the horizon

A striking image of a very well known and frequently photographed location but this shot stood out for me. The wonderful blue tones, the dramatic light creating the x type shape around the image draws the eye to the horizon perfect well done

A wonderful shot showing great reflections of summer. The symmetry of the umbrellas with the cliffs and coastline behind made me look twice at the centrality of the horizon but I kept coming back to it a great eye-catching image well done

One of my favourite beaches in Norway captured so dramatically. I love the way the long exposure effect to the clouds leads the eye to the horizon and the reflections of the mountains and then the subtle ripples in the calm water on the beach. Great shot well done

A fabulous image full of mystery with the misty hills behind and the reflections of the ruined castle in the Loch creating a beautiful image and perfect centred horizon. The muted tones could have caused it to vanish in the vast number of great images I had to judge but the mysterious toning really stood out well done

Fabulous colour tones caused this image to really catch the eye. I loved the way the palm trees reflected from the edges of the image lead you into the centre of the shot creating a wonderful centred horizon. Great image well done

A very simple and muted tonal image I thought it stood out because of the imperfect reflections due to all the different varieties of trees captured in the Thames and the looming mist forming on the river banks. Great image well done
