Different Flowers Together (in colour)

Congratulations for being my winner of this wonderful and inspiring contest. It was one of the most difficult to judge contests for me, as I simply drowned in so many colourful and beautiful flower images - it was heaven!! This image stood out of the crowd for me because it didn't take in too much, it was just the right distance away to not get overwhelming. To use the little group of poppies as focal point was a clever move. Thank you so much for this gorgeous image.

Thank you so much for entering this image, I fell for it straight away. No wonder, as I like books just as much as flowers and the outdoors! What really did it for me was the lovely little touch of putting a tiny blue harebell into the open book, connecting it in this subtle way with its surroundings and the brief of the contest - very clever.

Oh, what a joy!! I think we have all of them in the fields around our house, apart from cornflowers. How often did I myself picked just such a beautiful bouquet from nature, you can't beat it. I'm impressed that you could also name them, most people wouldn't know half of them. Thank you so much for your beautiful entry.

Wish I was there - that was my immediate thought when I saw your entrance image. Who would not love to while away time in such beautiful meadow, listening to the waves and forgetting time. It has a dream-like atmosphere to it. Timeless, subtle in its colours and absolutely stunning. Thank you so much.

Many thanks for your wonderful entry to this competition. It was a brave decision of yours to enter an image with such subtle colours into a contest brimming with bright colours, all shouting for attention. Sometimes it does pay off to be different and swim against the stream - but then it has to be so perfectly done as here. Very natural and captivating.
