At first glance the chair dominates your photograph and works well opposite the stunning architecture of the building. I like the way you've fulfilled the subject of everyday furniture in a way that seems out of context. The colours have a lovely balance and the wide angle close up of the chair kept me returning to your photograph. With each subsequent look, I kept spotting all the other furniture around the lake.

Brilliant capture, from the young man working on a piece of furniture, to the older man sitting on one of their creations, to the pile of furniture 'arranged' in the background. Colours are well balanced throughout and you've captured the theme in an excellent way.

Great title for your photograph and atmospheric too, which comes from good post-processing work. The lighting gives the impression that this isn't a novelty lamp but an exploring chimp straight from the original Planet of the Apes films or TV series. Nice twist on the topic and turning something everyday into something completely different.
