Thanks for entering my contest.

Upon seeing this photo I immediately was shocked at how beautiful this church looked. I have never seen or heard of a church that lights up at night like this!

Another thing that is incredible are the stars. They are a bit dark so you have to focus more on the image to get a better look at them, but once you really take a good look, you realize how gorgeous they are, and there are so many of them.

Certain people probably would say that it would be better if this photo was nothing more than just a church and the stars in the sky, but for me, I like how there are other things here, like the cars, the signs, etc. They make this image have more liveliness to it. It shows that there are people close by doing things and not that this church is just way out in the middle of nowhere. Yet it would also look just as beautiful if it Was out in the middle of nowhere!

That is about all I guess. There are only so many things to mention about this photo since the main things are the church and stars. I absolutely love how you captured this amazing church, it is probably the most beautiful church I have ever seen. It was absolutely perfect for this contest.

Fabulous job on this photo and being the First Place Winner of my contest!

Thanks for entering my contest.

When you look at this photo, the first thing you see is the Aurora Borealis, which of course, is amazing. You captured it super amazing and beautifully.

The church is great as well. It is a simple-looking church and fits right in with everything else. I really love how the cross on the church is illuminated by the aurora!

One thing I want to add as constructive criticism is that if I were you, I would with not doubt brighten that church a lot! The rest of the photo is fine but the church is way too dark and for this contest especially, it made this photo a bit less as good as it could have been because the church isn't really the subject of the photo. Not that it has to be, but it would have just looked better. But the rest of the photo looks perfect.

I also like how you captured the aurora reflecting off of everything... Even the door of the church!

So great job on this photo and taking a photo good enough for Fourth Place!

I really like how you captured this photo. The hill that is pretty much the whole photo is so rough and rocky and it leads up a very beaten path to the old church at the top. It is hard to believe that the church is even a church because it looks so much like a castle to me, even the top of it! It is awesome that you made sure that the church was in focus and not the hill because the church should absolutely be, more than anything else, the main focus of the image since it is right there on the top of the photo and definitely the most interesting thing here.

The clouds and sky also looks great. The sky is gloomy but pretty and there is this cool glow in the sky that is exactly around the part of the photo where the church is!

So awesome job on this photo and taking a photo good enough for Fifth Place!

This photo, just like number 4, is a fabulous photo of a church and the aurora.

Out of all the types of photos there are, I always love photos of a church as the subject, and beautiful northern lights in the background, it is a perfect mix.

The church is beautiful and the red on the roof makes it stand out. There is also that cool little gate thing on the ground that is to the left of the church that looks cool as well.

It looks like the aurora was out strong the night you took this picture! There is a lot of it and it all looks so beautiful.

Another thing that you did really good was getting the aurora to show up greatly, but also getting everything in the foreground plus the church as the subject, to be nice and bright. You can see every little thing that is in this image which makes it perfect pretty much.

Great job on this gorgeous image and taking a photo good enough to be Sixth Place!

This photo is very cool and has so many things to it.

The first thing I'd like to mention is (of course) the church! You can't really get a church that is any bigger, and more beautifully made than this can you? This church is so magnificent that it practically pops out of the photograph and right into your face. Every time I see it always has the same effect on me. It is amazing. It also works out really good because there are so many other things in this photograph that could result in making you pay too much attention to them and not the church, but in this photo that doesn't happen. The first thing you see is this massive, bold, and beautiful church being right in the center of the photo as the subject and the center of attention!

As I mentioned in the last paragraph, there are many other things in this photo. So many that they are another reason why this photo is so incredible. There are street lights, a beautiful big bus, people walking, people riding bicycles, etc. By having that many things right below, it gives this photo not only more interest, but life in a way. It makes it look "busy" and clearly shows that there are many things going on on this street. If they weren't there, all that there'd be mainly is just the cathedral.

Another thing I should mention is that your angle that you took this photo at is absolutely PERFECT. You managed to capture every part of this cathedral from the side you took it at, while also managing to capture everything that was going on down below. Then to make it even better? There are all kinds of beautiful tree giving off their beautiful green color and they also look like they are a curtain that is still unfolding to show you the beautiful church. The tree on the left of the photo that is close to the camera definitely looks like that. It is right on the side of the cathedral and still lets you see everything there.

You literally, and I mean LITERALLY couldn't have done any better on this photo. EVERYTHING is absolutely perfect. Even the clouds are beautiful with how they are plain white clouds with the wonderful azure color still showing partly.

FABULOUS job on this photo and taking a photo good enough for Second Place!

You're photo here is very nice and captured well.

First of all, I love the church. It is simple but stands out. And the red on top is pretty.

Next, the purple flowers growing everywhere in the foreground are gorgeous and add more color to this photo.

There is also a lot of green in this photo which makes it super pretty. Green is such a great color.

Then probably the last thing I want to point out is that there is so much smoke or fog in this photo. That to me, is what makes this photo so much better. It is great as it is, but the fog makes it look dreamy sort of, and makes you see everything better. It is really nice.

So great job on this photo and taking a photo good enough for 10th Place!

I love how you captured this photo with how it shows so much of this gorgeous church. There is also a lot of architecture in this image because you've got the church, another part of the church that is a dome that is in the background sort of, and then the leaning tower of Pisa way back there! So most of the image is architecture.

Your angle here is great because you went in the place where the sun was hitting the building the most. This allows you to see so much of the architecture, making every detail show.

Another thing I should add is look at all of the tiny people over there! There are so many people and you don't notice them at first, but once you do you realize how many there are.

So awesome job on this photo and taking a photo good enough for Seventh Place!

Thanks for entering my contest.

There were many photos of this very church in my contest. This one, out of all of them, was the best.

Since you captured this photo at the start of the blue hour, there is still a lot of light in the sky which allows you to see everything that is here. But since it is almost nighttime, there are lights that have just been turned on, on the church. This makes it look so good!

I wonder if you had to wait a while for the exact time of day to get it to look this good because it is absolutely perfect.

The statue or monument or whatever that thing in front of the church is, looks cool as well. You'd think that it would be in the way but it isn't since it makes the photo look even more cool!

Another thing that is cool is this church. It is no wonder why everyone likes it so much. It has what looks like pipes on the sides of it and it towers WAY up into the sky. Definitely a magnificent church for sure.

So awesome job on this photo! You definitely deserved Ninth Place!

This photo is very nice with how simple and beautiful it is.

Like I just said, this photo is simple. There are clearly many trees in the distance, but for what is right in front of you, there isn't much. That makes super pretty.

First of all, the church is great. It is a bit covered up by the tree on the left but that doesn't really matter that much since you can see more than half of it. And all of it looks beautiful.

I also love the trees. If they weren't there, this photo would be even more simple which would also look good, but it looks much prettier with the trees.

Your angle that you captured this photo at is just right because the church is right in the middle, plus all of the trees and landscape in the distance still shows but doesn't pop out too much. Another thing is, you also made sure to be up on a hill to show the landscape in the background. If you would have went lower down the hill, the rest wouldn't have showed up down there!

One more important thing I want to point out, is how I absolutely love the road in this photo. It works as a perfect leading line that goes straight to the church, the subject of the photo. It is also mostly white so it pops right out from the pretty green grass which is everywhere along the land here.

So anyway, amazing job on your photo here. You captured so many things while having the photo remain peaceful and simple. A perfect mix. Great job on Third Place as well!

Your photo here is fantastic and beautiful.

First of all, pretty much any picture taken in the Dolomites is always beautiful. This one is even better with a church for the subject. The church is beautiful and I love how the pillar of it goes way up there! Then you've got fantastic scenery in the back which makes it so pretty. There are mountains, trees, hills, etc. I love the spot you captured it at. I would prefer the church to be moved to the right just a bit since it doesn't really pop out enough but I totally understand that you wanted the scenery to show up and that is just fine. If the camera would have been moved over just a bit, it might have looked better but maybe not.

Anyway, what matters most is that this photo is beautiful and has so many great things about it.

So nice job on this photo and taking a photo good enough for Eighth Place!
