The warm light in this photo gives it a strong sense of reverence which was one of the criteria I had in my head for judging this competition. What elevates the image is the human factor and the birds introduce life and movement. Its a lovely image thank you for entering.

I considered this photo for the top ten. I absolutely love it and feel like it embodies the brief. The light and colour are appealing and the framing gives it character. However, the cropped gate feels accidental and breaks the frame. Regardless it's a beautiful and compelling image. Thank you for entering.
