Although I suspect this is a composite, I've still included it as I think it's a really striking image and works fantastically. I love the converging verticals, it's got a real industrial abstract feel to it and it's processed beautifully.

This is a phenomenal shot, so so good. I absolutely love the surrealism, cloud inversions are really special and make for some very interesting photos. The light trails look awesome too, I'd be over the moon if this was my shot I really would.

This is an amazing shot, I absolutely love it. Compositionally it's so simple but yet so enthralling. There's not many photos been entered in this composition that look as angry as this! I'd love to go storm chasing in America, it must be a real thrill! Well done on the win :)

It's not easy to take a photo that really shows off just how powerful nature can be but I think this does exactly that! You've done a great job here and your long drive definitely paid off. The sea wall leading in from the bottom left looks great and really guides your eyes through the image.

What a striking image, I love the long exposure on the waterfall it looks fantastic and really gives a sense of power. I've seen a few similar photos to this but I think this is the first I've seen with the blurred water and it's very impressive.

Ooft, this is a corker. I love the composition, you've got down low to really show off that foreground! The water movement is perfect and you've waited until the water was retreating which just looks so much better! The sky looks great as well which just tops it off. nice job!

This is an awesome shot. I love the fact that you've got a strong foreground as well as the lights, that aspect of aurora photography is so often overlooked I think people just get so excited they forget about composition and consequently end up with dare I say boring images. This definitely isn't one of them!

I've seen this image a few times in various places and it's always impressed me, so it's nice to see it in this competition. The light rays beaming through the mist look incredible, and the fog on the river just looks out of this world. A really beautiful image.

I've been here when the conditions have been like this and it's brutal, I don't know how anyone could put up with living there all year round! The storms come and go so fast it's hard to plan for anything! I love the almost monochrome nature of this, it's such a bleak and barren part of Lofoten it really suits it.

Here’s an opportunity to test your camera kit’s weather-sealed properties to the max and embrace everything the elements might throw at you. Instead of shying away from heavy rain, head out into it. Or take a trip to the coast to capture crashing waves in a storm. For a more subtle approach, why not challenge yourself to capture the effects of drought in an unexpected and creative way? Abstract images of parched, cracked earth could send a powerful message about the changes we are living through right now. Don’t forget, though, no photograph is worth risking your personal safety for, so always keep your wits about you.

I'm partial to a stormy lighthouse picture and this one definitely ticks the right boxes. I like the central composition and the vignette really tunnels my eyes to where they need to go. The blue processing really gives it an angry feel and makes you feel cold!

This is a wonderful image, a classic composition and by no means an original one but it's been done really well and you've had some lovely conditions for it! I particularly like the green reflected in the water, it's nice to see that you've paid attention to the foreground as well to ensure that there's interest throughout.

This is an incredible pano, I love the warm glow on the rocks and the central sunburst. I don't usually like seeing people in shots like this but it does show off the grandeur of the scene so it works in this instance. I like the processing too. Overall it's a lovely image!

This looks insane, I'd absolutely love to photograph a storm like this! It's nicely composed, sharp throughout and has plenty of interest. We don't really get weather like this in the UK and it always makes me envious to see it!

Snow like this on Skye doesn't happen all that often so it's great to see an image showing it! This view from Sgurr na Stri is one of my all time favourite views. You;ve done a nice job of stitching this into a pano, it's obviously a very wide view. Nice processing too!
