The lighting and coloring in this image really caught my eye. I love how you are "looking through" a frame of logs to both sides of the photo, though a bit distracting they form a nice frame.
Highland cattle are always photogenic, and they are rather rare, making them a well-loved subject for photography. This one is particularly innocent of the camera, preffering to mind it's own peace as it contemplatively chews at some hay.
Great job on 5th place!
I love this photo sooooooooo much. It's almost too cute to be true!!! The lambs both "whispering" into their mothers' ears, and the ewe is closing her eyes in ecstasy as her lambs nibble on her. It's too cute!! The quality and lighting of this photo are beautiful, as well as the blurred focus of the background and slight fore-ground. Excellent job on this lovely and super cute photo, and congrats on 6th place!
The high over-head view on this is really lovely and amazing. It makes a huge tractor and even bigger trailer look miniature while they funnel up hay or grass from the field. The leading lines are great as well, while covering the entire image.
The pop of color that the tractor trailer makes is great as well. I almost wonder what this image would look like with red being a selective color. I bet that it would look great!
The quality, lighting and clarity of the image are amazing. Great job on 8th place!
This photo is a VERY close 1st prize. If I liked cows better than horses this would be first prize for sure. Your photo of this young cow is amazing.
The thick, swirling-in-all-directions hair really caught my eye, as well as the pin-sharp quality and clarity of the image. The lighting on the young cow's face is perfect, and I LOVE the black background melded in with the cow. Congrats and great job on 2nd place!

So many things caught my eye instantly about this image. The lighting is stunning, the almost aerial angle is eye-catching, the quality is magnificent, and the colors are beautiful. Something is just so lovely about 2 contrasting colors being the only components in an image like this.
The main other thing that caught my eye was the random sunflower peeking over the backs of it's comrads to show it's sunny face to the photographer. I really like that! Great job on 3rd place!
I wonder how in the world you got this stunning image. How can everything except for the water stream be dark? It's a mystery and one for only you to know.
The waterer silhouetted perfectly against the bright mist of water falling onto the green ground is really stunning, while a dark shadow is cast over everything else, almost obscuring from view the landscape.
The quality of the image is great! Congrats on 9th place!
This photo is awesome, and very nice to stand and just look at. Rarely thought of and not appreciated very much, the clouds back of the main subject really add a lot to the image.
The photo would not be nearly as nice if the clouds weren't thick and half-threatening looking behind the hard-working woman.
The lower angle makes the subject have a more lordly aspect, more comandeering while she tosses the heavy sheaf of grain. The quality and lighting of the image are spectacular. Great job and congrats on 4th place!
This photo would surely be my 11th pick if I could. It's soo cute. The number sprayed on the lambs' side is a bit distracting but also in a way adds a nice different color to the meagre color pallet. The quality of the image is lovely, but the lighting is stellar. I am delighted at how you caught both cuties looking straight at the camera, while one has straw in it's mouth. The angle is perfect, great for photographing young sheep!! Great job
This photo is fantastic. The crop on it is perfect. I rarely edit or crop images, so I still have to learn the art of a really good cropped image.
The swirling and multi-colored clouds, the flock of birds, the stubble in the field, all of that is really key-elements to the image. The tractor positioned at the rule of thirds is great, but what is really the best part of the image is the stunning sunset lighting. I love how it's so golden and softly shining on the entire image. The quality of the image is amazing as well!! Great job on 7th place!
