Thank you so much for taking the time to enter your photo ‘Crocuses on the edge’! I love so many things about this photo but especially the angle of the shot with the drain visible in the background; I thought it really captured what a transient habitat this crocus has managed to survive and thrive in. I didn’t expect that a crocus could grow in this scenario and I felt that your photo told this flower’s story beautifully!

I am in love with this photo! I think the vibrant colours of the painted squares make for the perfect urban backdrop but they have been used along with the pavement to frame the flowers and make sure they still take centre stage - is that jazz hands I can see?! Thank you so much for entering this photo - I thought that it perfectly captured the grit of pavement weeds!
Thank you for entering your photo 'Up the Wall'! I thought this photo nailed the ‘survive and thrive’ element of the brief; these Aubretia look like they are flourishing in the cracks of this wall. I really liked the sharpness of the image as well as the overall composition, and especially the flowers spilling from the drainpipe.
I really like the vivid colours, the point of focus and the angle of this shot; I thought all these aspects combined to showcase the Stonecrop flower weaving its way out of the shadow upwards into sunshine and sharp focus. It made me wonder how on Earth something so beautiful can emerge from a barren stone wall - thank you so much for entering this photo!
