I was taken with the curve of the water and the colours the baskets are nicely on Yuen’s third and there is interest in the sky. Your exposure and control over white balance is good with the shades of green well captured it is a pleasant relaxing photograph thank you for entering

I like the way you captured the crayons the light wasn’t helpful to you and possibly a little off camera flash with. Post processing could have lifted the shadows from under the jaws. I might even have been tempted to use a pop up reflector but good job

This is one of my favourite parts of Keukenhof but I usually shoot to avoid the tents which slightly distract on the right hand Sculpture thank you for bringing back memories. You managed to get good colours without blowing out the whites nice work

I liked the way you thought about this and captured an image showing 2 of my favourite subjects Gardens and aircraft. The lights could have been cloned out and although there is some colour in the sky sadly the lack of clouds just let the image down slightly but nice work

I was taken by the reflection you captured and the contrasting colours. I am pleased to see you didn’t use a nd filter to try and smooth the water on a very long exposure instead you have captured the ripples brining life to the picture very well done

In this contest I would like to see your colour photos showing a formal garden. There are many examples of formal gardens, planted to a pattern or design, from flower beds in parks, knot gardens and mazes with intricate designs, or displays such as at the world famous Keukenhof Gardens or Chelsea Flower Show. Your image should clearly show a garden that has been laid out and planted in an ordered design, showing various shapes, colours and varieties of plants. It would add interest if you can give the location of the formal garden in your image. Please only enter colour photos, no black and white.

The use of the lens ball was a most imaginative way to change the image from a record photo to a remembered photo. The image is nice and shard with good colours and resolution. The bokeh is. Good but I might have cropped to a square format yo reduce clutter on the right side of the picture.

Without you putting where this is I would have said it was Japan’s, you were blessed with favourable light and a calm day for the reflection. I might have been tempted to use a pebble just to get some ripples for movement on the water nice work
