From here to number 10, we have a series of snails environmental settings. Great great care was given in picking the right background and for many of those you will realise very quickly that less is better. I think all of them stunning pictures. Well done to all.

Now this is truly a little gem. Snails love the rain. This was the only entry integrating rain in the composition. The lighting, the reflections, the traces left by the rain makes this composition unique. Well done.

Hop hop hop... the snail trail is quite distinctive to the usual more common continuous slim trail. It leaves you wondering how it came about... Do snails hop? In this composition, I have selected as a second position, the background complements the subject and is truly an integrated part of the photos. The simplicity of it all is striking but effective.
