Grain Silos

Really a powerful shot! The strength of the tall grain silo against the brushy ground makes it tower. The clouds in the sky make it dynamic, have life. You can alomist feel the wind rattling the siding. The lighting is wonderful, the grass leading up to and the silo are illuminated so stand out.

WOW! This photo caught and kept my attention. You have captured the rolling hills and softness of the growing fields perfectly. The light and shadow add addition texture and interest to the photo. Even with all the beauty going on around it you did a masterful job of making the grain elevator the focal point.

Wonderful capture of light and shadow in the landscape. The color is brilliant. The clouds in the background add depth and texture to the shot. The softness of the bail and fields make a great contrast to the strength and hardness of the bins.

The onlookers in this shot made me chuckle. I'm sure they thought the shot was all about them. I like the natural tan coloring of the grass, silos and kangaroos make that pop of blue at the top of the silo's really stand out.

Super use if leading lines. Even if they are meandering lines they still all lead to the focal point of the photo, the silo. The trees all being dark in the background act like a curtain to make the silo and fences stand out in the front.

Rich in texture and depth this is just perfect in monochrome. The background clouds really make the silos in front tower over the rest of the landscape. The clouds have life, movement to them so gives life, movement to the scene. The shadowing from the scaffolding on the front adds more dimension to the shot.

What a warm wonderful feeling to this shot. Super use of shadowing on the road. The fence line and curve of the road give movement and life to the photo. The colors are deep, quiet and rich. I would love to walk on this dirt road and see all the sights you've shared!

Really love the old and new in this. The warmth and natural board of the abandoned barns stands in testament to the old ways while the new, shiny, hard silos show the new ways pushing in on them. The grain field in the foreground and rolling hills in the back give depth and contrst.
