I love the vibe of this image. It feels like it should be the album cover for some cool ambient tunes. The colour pallet has a beautiful poetic, dreamlike and ethereal groove. I also love the sense of motion; there's a fluid energy that works a treat.

I love the crisp, clean use of lines in this bold and graphic image. The darkness of the tree helps accentuate the high-key nature of the rest of the image. The lines of the fence make the image shine, significantly where the two fences overlap.

This is an interesting take on the theme, and it is great to see the human form being used creatively. The subject's eyelashes reveal lovely echoes of the great surrealist photographer and artist Man Ray. The use of reflection is a cunning, creative device.

Wow, the handling of the tones in this extremely well-controlled still life is sublime. It works well as a high-key image, and it's good to see that just enough detail has been retained in the highlights. Good work, keep it up.

It is lovely to see intentional camera movement (ICM) used in this theme. The experimental technique is perfect for the challenge with its impressionist-like sense of motion and fluidity. The gentle pastel colour pallet and handling of the tonality are spot on.

I love the use of symmetry and repetition in this striking and graphic landscape. The snow creates a good backdrop for the high-key theme. The overall 'design' and composition is expertly balanced, which is not easy with so few elements. Good work!

This bleak and barren landscape has a dystopian and post-apocalyptic vibe. The subtle layers of the composition and narrative give it strength and depth. The high key tonality has been sensitively handled and suits the subject, revealing just enough detail where it's needed. Good work!

High key imagery is that which has predominantly bright tones, which can be any combination of over-exposure of the image and a lighter-toned subject. It does lend itself a little more to studio photography where light-toned subjects and backdrops can be used to create a scene, and lighting is under better control of the photographer, but don’t be constrained! You can get excellent results out and about, you just might need to have your high key head on whilst scoping out some good locations inside or outside the home.

This is a harmonious and beautifully balanced composition. The high key tonality has been skillfully controlled, giving the image an ethereal quality. The narrative element speaks for itself with the perfect timing in capturing this moment. This is good work, keep it up!

Excellent use of line to create an engaging landscape. The graphic elements of the dry stone walls set against the white snow work a treat. The handling of the tones is perfect, with just enough detail retained in the white snow; it's a fine line. Good work.

Beautiful work. Delicate and sensitively handled tones. Tulips make great subjects, especially when they've started wilting and decaying (in my opinion). Rendering in black and white was a good choice; your digital darkroom work reveals skill and confidence. Good work, keep it up.

I love the balance in this confident composition. The line of the trees set against the stark snow-white backdrop has been beautifully seen. I love the way the small and different tree at the end of the line has (for me) metaphoric implications.

It is lovely to see a cool, stylish portrait in this theme. The tonal range has been handled well, revealing just enough detail in the highlights. However, the 'shushing' gesture of the subject works; the technique, expression and pose all come together perfectly.

Beautiful plumage! The close crop, which creates an almost abstract image, has been carefully considered. The tonality is delicate and beautifully controlled, with just enough detail in the highlights along with sublime subtle pink hues. Good work, keep it up.

Wow, how clever! It shows that you don't need to go to exotic locations or have fancy props to create an exciting image. A humble piece of paper, some cunning lighting and a sprinkling of creativity and vision are all you need. All are seen in abundance here.
