A well composed soft landscape with ground fog in early morning sun. The Château looks to be alone in a huge landscape, the village in the valley completely hidden. The golden morning colors works well with this. This could be a scene from a movie or the picture on the lid of a puzzle (a hard one to lay...).

An iconic landscape well captured in the morning light. The colors and compositions works very well, and you wonder if that road might take you down to a nice pub for lunch when you've taken your fill of the magnificent coast. The white, well - off white - cliffs are nicely lit and placed in the frame, and the lighthouse in the distance brings your attention to a wider view of vessels and scenes beyond.
A nicely composed picture with nice warm evening colors. What further attracted me to this picture is the contrasts of the lit bridge into the high rise city, and the tranquil river scene with the derelict building. The lines point towards the city, perhaps a reminder that time moves on.
It deserves being viewed large, but the resolution of the picture is limited, and it could not be made large on a 24" monitor.
A dreamlike yet sharp late autumn landscape with a dramatic sky, colored hills and soft blurred water. It presents a tranquil scene, yet with its dark colors also perhaps of stormy weather ahead or receding. The fence and gate out in the water is well placed, but brings the questions of why it is there, and how do you open that gate out there. Perhaps this could do well as a wall picture in a psychologists waiting room.

This contest is for your panoramic landscape photos. A panorama is a photo that is unusually wide with an aspect ratio of 2:1 or larger, meaning the image is least twice as wide as it is high. A panorama can be created by cropping the height of a single shot, or by combining two or more shots to get a wide picture. The subject in this contest should be a landscape which may be rural, urban or both. Images can be from any perspective such as at ground level, from a building or at height. Slanted horizons, watermarks or frames are discouraged. Colour or black and white are equally acceptable.

Meet the judge
Love the idea behind this, and a vertical panorama is unusual, but fits well with the grand subject. Like the perspective you have presented here with the very low and small horizon and the Milky Way suspended above. Have read your comments, but unfortunately I find the lines of merger in the presented image to obvious for a top 10 placement.
