Excellent photo that has a nice narrative element that really uses the lensball well. The choice to use red and blue gels on your light works well, especially with the way those colours swap sides for the refraction. The ball is also well placed with the eyes and the jewellery in the background leading the eyes to the ball. Nice work, and congrats on winning this contest.

Nice execution of a slightly different concept with the Lensball. The lighting you have on the ball and map works well, and of course using the ball to pick out the word "London" is creative. Good photo, that's well lit, and has a clear narrative.

An impressive still life photo that has strong colours. The use of the wine glasses works well to balance this image. Then of course the impressive choice of background, and how you've used this to frame the ball really brings the whole photo together. Congrats on your 2nd place.

Nice photo, and this is a good choice for a lensball photo. The image within an image works well here, and there is a lot of light coming through the ball which works well for this photo. Great photo, and you were close to be commended.

Lensball photography involves using a crystal ball which acts as both an external wide-angle lens and a photographic tool that inverts images inside the lensball due to the magic of refraction which occurs. This transpires due to the lensball's spherical shape and the bending of light when hitting the object of denser mass, in this case the crystal. The wide-angle and refraction can result in stunning creative photography in a variety of areas whether it be landscape or street photography. Good use of light painting with the lensball for this photo. I really like the blue light painting vs the yellow colour of the ball. The swirls above the reflective glass surface that the ball is placed on works nicely as well, with the light painting effectively framing the ball.
