Your image shows the difference by just clicking and taking a picture or creating photography art. The strong yellow color and the fact that you have taken the picture, I believe in the afternoon, with the shadows make the image special. We can all learn from this.

Your solution of the task clearly show the difference in just to take a picture and then create photografi art. Your solution of taking the photo with the powerful shadow makes it a perfect image. I rate yours for 3rd place, but it could as well have been 2nd. place.

In this contest, there were many close up photos of mailboxes, but yours stands out significantly. I like the angle you have taken the photo and the dark side gives a good mood. If you have editing software I would recommend removing the two white spots in the background, but thats a miner thing.

This mailbox in Greenland is maybe the best known mailbox world wide. Children all over the world are sending there Christams wishes to Santa to this mailbox. Nice to see you picture of the mailbox. To make the picture in the top ten I need a litle composition or action in the image, I would have loved to see some children in the picture. But a nice picture.

This is a great image and it could very well had been in the top ten - I must admit the it has been tough to select the top ten photos. I would recommend you to crop the photo, take away the left part black and take awy the right part white and keep only the red wall with the hook and the mailbox, for me that would have been a photo in the top 10.
