Me and my camera

This is such an awesome image. It really goes straight to the theme. The camera takes on a personality all of its own, stops being a thing, or a tool and becomes 'one of us' or 'your partner'. It's a funny image which made me laugh. Very well captured.

Photography can be a frustrating business! Who hasn't felt like this from time to time? I know I have!! This photograph made me smile, it's both funny and well framed. The emotion and story telling has been very well conveyed.

In the nicest possible way - this reminds me of Gollum from The Lord of the Rings movies. GAS - Gear Acquisition Syndrome also comes to mind! A lovely image, with some great emotion, and like this others in the top five it also manages to tell a story, a very true story I'm sure.

Having used an action camera myself, I am all too aware of how challenging they can be, especially to frame and time a shot from a distance whilst performing a challenging activity! It shows just how far commercially available cameras have evolved over the years, and how their use has been so well adopted by the photography community. A great, well framed and interesting image. Well done.

Such a cool shot! The emotion is plain to see in the photographer - she's clearly enjoying taking this macro image. The reflection and bokeh revealing the photographer in the real world is excellently framed. I really love this image - it captures such a great story.
