This photo is not the most in focus and the lighting is nothing too special. I do like the reflections in the water. However it is the subject matter that captured my attention so much that I wanted it in my top 10. I was quite intrigued by these pelicans seeming to either bow in respect or turn away in disgust (can not say for sure which) at the sight of this swan. Well done and thank you for entering!

Please show me your photos of two or more different wildlife species together in one image. The animals do not have to be interacting or even near each other. The animals must actually be in the same location when captured, so no composite images. No humans in the photos. Photos can be in colour or black and white.

It was not the focus, or the lighting, or the setting that got this photograph commended in this contest. It was in fact the subject matter that caught my eye, sometimes that is all it takes. Never in my life have I seen a giraffe kick a zebra. Interesting capture, thank you for entering! It made me smile.
Although the focus on this photo seems a bit off to me and I almost did not commend it ( in fact I went thru several times and skipped it before I did commend it) but I am a sucker for interesting subject matter. And this is certainly interesting. It looks like some sort of odd worship or "pond meeting" haha. Thanks for entering!
