Multicoloured

Very well done on achieving 3rd place in my competition. Capturing the light shining through the umbrellas has really made the colours pop. I really like the way the umbrellas overlap to create areas of light and shade. The handles and spokes in black silhouette also help the rainbow colours to stand out strongly. For me, this is a favourite aspect of the picture. Such a great photo and thanks for entering.

Well done on achieving 4th place in my competition. I found your photograph very striking and different in its approach to the multicoloured challenge. The subject is very bold, colourful and flamboyant but the eyes are hidden by the bright orange visor which is intriguing to me. The choice of a plain black top really enhances the rainbow colours elsewhere in the photo. A great street capture. Thank you for entering.

First of all, many congratulations on being the 1st place winner in my competition. For me, your photograph completely hit the brief of multicoloured and the more colours the better! I particularly like the way the balloon has been framed off centre. The spiral effect this created really drew me in to the photograph. The ropes crossing the top right-hand side give additional interest to the image. Very well done and thanks for entering.

Congratulations on achieving 2nd place in my competition. Your photograph really stood out for me amongst the other great pictures featuring murals. In my opinion, having the bicycle placed in the foreground of the image really makes the colours stand out rather than distract from them. The monochrome pavement also helps to make the mural appear bolder and more vibrant. Very well done and thanks for entering.

Congratulations on achieving 5th place in my competition. There were some great building photographs entered but yours stood out to me for several reasons. I really like the composition, geometric shapes and the diagonal leading lines. In addition, the light shining through the transparent balconies emphasises the bright colours against an otherwise plain background. It really enhances the image for me and makes the picture come alive. Very well done.
