In this contest, entries should show something unusual. It maybe something that you have spotted and thought that it doesn't look 'normal'. The subject can be anything you like and it may be unusual for you but not for other people, and vice versa, so keep your mind open. Any technique is good for this contest and you can be light or heavy on post processing (just please mention if it has significantly changed the photo, for example a composite image where things have been added).
