Thank you for entering the Postboxes contest. It made a change to see a postbox that was not situated in the street! Obviously this image took some time to set up but it was worth it. I do not think it was taken specifically for this contest, but regardless, it does fit the brief.
The relationship between the toys and the postbox works well and does not overly clutter the image. I like the ways the toys are positioned and the letter being posted finishes it off.
Thank you for entering the Postboxes contest. I note that this image was taken with a mobile phone which just goes to show one doesn't need a DSLR to produce a good shot.
I like the originality of it and the title is certainly correct, unfortunately. I used to love receiving letters!
The stamps in the foreground add interest and do not distract from the main subject. Sometimes simplicity is better. Good!

Please submit your photos of any type of post/letter/mail boxes that are used for sending mail. This will therefore exclude private letter boxes found on buildings, front doors, gates etc. which are used for receiving mail. The postboxes can be in cities or in the countryside and images can be in black and white or colour. No selective colour for this contest though. So start posting those pics!
