It’s impossible to determine indoors from outdoors in this photo. As there’s no distinction anymore, the two forces have united and merged as one. This building has truly been reclaimed by nature.

I really likes the story behind this photo. It demonstrates that it’s not just places or possessions that get forgotten and reclaimed by nature… but memories, ways of life and perspectives.

Firstly, the cascading light from the exposed ceiling is beautiful, and is what initially drew me to this image.

Next was the sand and how totally abandoned this place is. It truly shows how quickly mother nature moves in to reclaim deserted places.
