Roof Tiles

For me this was my clear favourite and stood out from the rest. I love the symmetry of this image and the mixture of colours featured in the tiles. The composition is excellent and the perspective of looking directly down on the tiles also makes it such an interesting image.

I love the simplicity of this image focusing on just a few tiles. The muted colours of the wall and tiles are are beautiful. The composition is excellent with the tiles being the focus of the photo while the window and shadow create extra interest.

I love the perfect balance of this photo. The roof edge detail is beautifully captured with great clarity. The eye is drawn in by the soft focus of the tiles going into the distance. There are lovely details like the moss on the edge of the tiles which provide extra interest to the image.

The arrangement of these tiles creates such an interesting image. The light is perfect for capturing the subtle differences in the colour and texture of the tiles. The shadows between the tiles also adds to the beauty of this photo.

This is one of my favourite photos out of the many that featured this distinctive roof. The rooftop figure in the foreground adds interest while the beautiful multi-coloured tiles remain the focus. This close up photo highlights the beautiful patterns perfectly.

It was lovely to see many photos that featured different types of roofs and unusual tiles. This photo captures the colours and shapes so beautifully. There is a lovely balance in the composition with the roof filling the frame. The light creates both shadows and highlights and makes the interesting shapes stand out.

This photo has such great clarity and the composition is excellent. Focusing in a on a small area of tiles is very effective and the lines and repetition make it such a beautiful image. There is also a perfect balance of orange and blue grey tiles which is very pleasing to the eye.
