Rubbish

Among my favourite things to photograph are abandoned motor vehicles. This is a really good picture of two old vans and I love it, but unfortunately the image did not fit the brief. However I think that maybe "Abandoned vehicles" could be a good subject for a competition.

Ever since I thought of this competition this was the image I had in my mind it shows the thoughtlessness of mankind. So I am pleased that you saw the same and the b&w treatment works well with this image. Composition is excellent.

This is a lovely picture showing how mans inconsiderate, unthinking, continuous throwing away of rubbish is affecting other innocent creatures. Lovely image well exposed and composed. The baby duck looks quite sad, which I think adds greatly to the shot.

I could not resist this image as the humour, at least in part, takes away from the mess that humans are making of our planet. This image even portrays the sadness of our modern lives. As the saying goes "The eyes are the window to our souls" The elephants eyes just show unbelievable sadness. Over all a nice image of discarded rubbish.

The image showing a lone chair is always an interesting one as I imagine someone sitting on the chair waiting for something. In this case I imagine someone waiting for the cleaners to come and take away the rubbish. Nice image well shot.
