Fantastic sharp image of a difficult element of sea fishing and fisherman to capture. I love their reflections in the water as for me they add great foreground interest. I don't mind the reflection is missing part of the net as you have captured the whole of the net in the main part of the image. Great to see the two people in the boat have contrasting colour tops on. I like the position in the frame as well.
What a wonderfully peaceful image. Very well timed and sharp image. You've handled the lighting really well. I like the position of the sun in the image and that it lights up the boat in the background. Having the person in shade is fantastic and well done for keeping detail on them as well. The wave coming off the bow is very well shot. It's in focus and has good tones. It's pin sharp, the boat is wonderfully sat in the frame and the sky is awe-inspiring. For this contest I am wanting to see your photos of any aspect of sea fishermen and their work. The image should show sea fishermen either at sea, setting off or returning with the catch, or carrying out some other task such as sorting fish or hauling boats from the water. The boat and the sea can be in the shot but is not essential, as long as the image clearly shows sea fishermen. Please do not enter photos showing just fishing boats with no crew in the shot. Please only show sea fishing, not river fishing or fishing from the land.

Brilliant image. Very well seen. You have definitely read the brief and thought about it. You have captured an image 100% on task. It is also 100% technically and photographically spot on. The image has a lovely balance to it in every way especially colour harmony. The fisherman's face is beautifully sharp.
I really like this image. You have stuck to the brief very well. As this image is obviously of the sea it is a creative way to show the use of a fishing rod as sea fishing, so very well done. I like the fact that you have taken the image yet you are the fisherman as well. This is a wonderful image to see and you should be proud of it. You have handled your camera well and have managed to keep the image pin sharp despite being at sea. I love the angle of your rod creating the triangle with the line. Your boat also creates a nice triangle. I like having your paddle in at the front as well. What a great image.
