A selective colour image is a black and white photo with just one colour selected for impact. This can be any colour you choose, but the rest of the photo must be in black and white. The subject matter is open to your own choice and innovation. Creativity will be rewarded.
Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge,. The colour -orange- is a delightful change from the colour red , which is the normally preferred colour used in selective colour. The draping dress draws our eye into that which the photographer vouches as the most important - the dress and the veil. A very simple image but effective in nature at the same time. Congratulations and well done!
Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge The concept of "less is more" tends to come into play here with just the single chair standing alone against a wall. The selective colour red also tends to draw the viewer's eye in towards the chair - the featured object in this image. Congratulations and well done!

Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. The usage of mannequins and their clothing is a unique way in order to display the concept of selective colour. The role play of symmetry by the usage of lines and circles also tends to enhance the overall aspect of the image. The red tends to draw the viewers attention into the image than would have otherwise been the case .Congratulations and well done!
