Shades of One Colour (not black/grey)

A perfect example of the brief given - thank you so much for entering the contest. People who always buy their eggs at the supermarket cannot appreciate how different chickens' eggs can look, even though the hens are the same breed and age. Brilliant composition and I'm sure that the eggs tasted very nice as well.

The words 'boring' or 'mundane' come to mind when looking at this image - and yet, it shows the colour brown in so many different shades, just as the brief asked for. This is such a clever composition and I'm very glad that you entered the image.

Wow, where to start? Here we have so many different shades of the colour brown, but also action, emotion and an image that tells the enduring story of poverty and survival. The man in this image has to do this physically hard and unpleasant work to survive, not because he likes it! There is so much detail here and I love how you managed to draw it all together in this striking composition. Thank you and congratulation for being my winner

Spot the frog - not the easiest of tasks in this image. You could make this into a very difficult puzzle! The variety of green is amazing, and I really love the composition of the image and the angle of the shot. Thank you very much for entering the contest.
