Show Me a Sign

Well it was very difficult to choose a winner in this contest because a sign is a sign no matter how you try to dress it up :) I like this photo because the sign IS the dominant feature but it still manages to be a very good image as well. Something quite ordinary we see everyday, but made into an interesting picture.

This contest has shown me that we live in a world dominated by signs! They are everywhere and about anything and everything. We are being ordered about all the time without always realising it :)

Signs are everywhere you go but you don't even really look at them anymore if you've seen them hundreds of times already. Young people may not be familiar with this particular sign ;). This is another brilliant example of something rather dull making an excellent photo.

This is very funny. I'm not sure whether it was staged or not but it makes for a rather amusing image. It shows you don't need the best post processing and effects to make a good photo, you just need to be in the right place at the right time for capturing that perfect snap.
