A beautifully processed black and white image of a wonderful landscape that looks almost better by night than it does by day. The image has captured a stillness that evokes a silent night for me. I like the composition and the way the light has been handled. Congratulations on gaining 9th place in the contest.
A beautifully processed black and white image that evokes the theme of the contest for me. It also demonstrates that great night images can be found in non-mountainous parts of the worls. It's a great fusion of two images that have been skilfully composited together. Great work and congratulations on 7th place in the contest.
This was my winning image from the moment I first saw it. The colouration and composition are spot on. The image conveys a sense of silence and stillness, enhanced by the misty atmosphere. A night that was lightened by the light reflecting off of the snow. Congratulations on winning my Silent Night contest with an outstanding image.

There were surprisingly few images of sleeping people in the contest. I liked this one because of the effort you have obviously made to come up with something original. It's nicely composited and slightly surreal yet an image that most people can identify with. Congratulations for producing a super image.

Lovely humourous image that many parents will identify with the sentiments of, even though they wouldn't go through with it. It's a nice group portrait of the children and nicely composed. Though it doesn't appear to have been a night shot I nevertheless felt the originality, and the fact that it made me smile, deserved a Commendation.
A very original entry for the contest but one that I felt did evoke a sense of a silent night. One imagines these individuals waiting sliently in the queue of the bread lines of the Great Depression and likely at night. Beautifully captured image and adding the masks does make a point, with many people losing their livelihoods in these difficult times. Well done for thinking outside the box and entering a thought provoking image
