I am thinking that this was not just a happy coincidence that this person was passing the studio "Silhouette" when you captured this image. I like the word association, the leading lines to a central horizon and the subjects reflection. An interesting silhouette that definitely helps us to form an impression of an elderly subject with the hunched shoulders and walking stick. The sepia processing is appropriate for this image. Well done and congratulations on being in my top ten selection.

A fascinating capture with a wonderful water texture that covers the whole image. You have managed to capture the subject in a nice silhouette form with the water cascading off the umbrella. An outstanding street style capture of ten silhouettes. There are three important ingredients that make this an outstanding image. You have taken the image from a low vantage point. The individuals (with only one exception) are all clearly defined and appear unrelated in their actions. There is a large light source that has a very fine gradual tone. Our eyes are always attracted to red and this particularly applies to this shot as it has such a streamlined shape. The capture of this silhouette is a very appropriate form as she appears streamlined too with head down and flying hair. You have captured her in exactly the right position in the frame. What a great capture of Rodeo action. The silhouettes are strung out across the frame without overlapping and create a complete story of the action. The photographer has captured a perfect moment from the Bull to the tumbling rider and the dramatic stances of the clowns all dressed in a mix of backlit dust. The backlit spectators complete a wonderful sporting capture. A well deserved first place, congratulations.
