Congratulations on a brilliant image. From the focus point to Exposure, depth of field, motion blur and frozen motion, this photographer has managed to capture an outstanding photo shot in extremely tough conditions. As was stated in the description, tough lighting, fast speeds and freezing conditions are no easy feat for any photographer. Technically a great image, topped with atmosphere, a complete story with room left to draw the viewer into the situation and use their imagination. Nice job.

Great use of Black and white for this winter sport image. The leading lines created by the top of the birch trees lining the trail, and the edge of the trail itself work great to lead the eye into the athlete. The dark pine in the background creates a great contrast to draw the viewer further towards the subject, in my opinion, cropping the image slightly to remove the upper right corner so there was only the dark pines in the background would really set this image off. Overall nice job and good eye for the impromptu shot.
Absolute banger composition. Love the low angle, that fact you can still see the riders face, how high he is over the path and far he is pressing over the edge. The photographer has really told a great story and captured a great image. With some subtle editing and a better relationship between the highlights and shadows this image would rank very high. Great capture.
