Spices and Spicy Food

Since spices ares so colorful, I love that the subject's focus was made brighter by turning the background of the photo into black and white. I this this photo shows the magnitude of spicy foods and adds in a special part of eating; the human interaction. Well shot photo.

I appreciate that the burger is the main subject of the photo. The burger pulls all of the spices together in one place to complete the meal. In the background, surrounding the burger is captured the sauces and peppers that individually created the whole. Awesome photo.

The colors in this rainbow of spices are brilliant. The photo captures each spice at it's best by accenting it's hue. The labels and scoops add appeal to the overall picture. You know exactly what you're looking at and it makes you want to scoop a bagful.

Macro photos, especially those having food as the subject, captivate me. I can literally see the spices come to life on this ear of corn. The color in the spices and the color of the corn combine to make a beautiful landscape.
