When photographing sport you would typically focus on capturing peak action. This photograph proves it isn't always necessary. Even though we're seeing this cricket match from hundreds of feet in the air I'm still able to get a sense of the action underway below. This combines the best parts of a landscape and a sports shot, brilliant.
Talk about impact, wow! The blue/green colour tone with the warm oranges and coppers of the building are such a welcome juxtaposition. The rule of thirds has been observed here which could have left the image feeling a little bottom heavy, but the movement from the clouds beautifully balances out the top of the frame and their softness opposes the harsh, architectural lines below. Excellent work.

Some of the most iconic sports venues in the world strike a powerful balance between impressive and picturesque. Their dramatic architecture and wide, imposing dimensions are unmistakeable, taking on forms that aren’t seen in any other type of architecture. Photographing sports venues, whether big or small, interior or exterior, will require some specialist knowledge and an informed approach. Good luck.

I really like the thought behind this shot. It's bold and impactful with the leading lines and the CELTIC letters on the stand. I would have liked to see the photograph taken from dead center on the half way line. The fact that it is slightly off the the left throws out the symmetry of the shot, but a great idea almost perfectly executed.
What a fantastic photograph. This is such a beautifully considered frame which appeals to me on so many levels. The composition is perfect and the addition of the man running up the stairs brings life to what would otherwise be a potentially uneventful abstract image. I love to colours. Well done.
