Stained Glass Windows in Colour

A more modern take on the window theme but well captured with good colours and details. The exposure has ensured the framework isn’t distracting whilst there is richness. Also it is a well composed and planned crop although just slightly too tight on the right hand side

I know this location and you managed to capture the beauty of the glass and colours despite it being into the sun. The light was definitely not in your favour and I might have cropped the top slightly to remove to sky and just left the “beams of light” well done

I was enamoured with the colours,detail and the emotion that was captured on this image, the way that you cropped in was very good and it grasped the essence of the window. I also noticed that even the slight imperfection in the hair was left so it was very true to real world and not over corrected

The pattern in the kaleidoscopic effect is wonderful and it draws the viewers eye into the picture. With quite difficult lighting you have got a good exposure without burning out anything or loosing details. It is also nicely symmetrical good work against averyhigh standard of entries

I liked the way you captured both the windows and the light from the window illuminating the furniture. It is well composed and a very good exposure with a good depth. The furniture also adds a nice leading line well done

The rich vibrant colours reflected the nature of the item being honoured in that it is a band. The choice of subject also stood out against a large number of religious Windows proving that stained glass is still a very relevant medium in a modern lesss secular world. Well done on the colours
