Street Performers (not musicians)

This could work as a book cover for some medieval tale or involving Norsemen. It is extremely dramatic. The fact that the face of the performer is in focus is good despite the difficulty the photographer may have had with the flames and sparks.

This image is sort of creepy in a way but I like the colour tones in the image and the use of selective colour. I also like the pose the street entertainer has taken. I also like the fact that the stop sign in red is showing which blends nicely with the performers red bag.

I like this image in it's drama of the moment and also that the photographer has decided to go for black and white and not let colour deviate us away from this acrobat's moment on the street. The position of the man performing is good as is the fact that we can see the happy impressed faces of those watching.

A very dramatic street happening. I like the fact that the photographer has caught the performer head on as he goes through the fiery square. The fact that those watching can be seen slightly out of focus behind also helps.

A nice image captured well. I like the fact that the artist is concentrating on his work and not looking at the camera. There is also a good balance between himself and his paintings. These stand out due to the colours of his works against the muted background of what the man is wearing and the wall.

This picture stands out to me for three reasons I feel. 1) that it is in black and white, 2) the angle that it has been taken at and 3) the lighting giving us the eye of the footballer and the shadows around him.

A very dramatic image again like another image in the top ten almost surreal. The photographer has timed the taking of the picture perfectly as not too much of the hay is on fire. The balance of the man igniting the fire and the straw is good. Although the man is dressed in black it is good that his face has been illuminated by the fire.

A good close up portrait of a performer and full of colour. I like the fact that the eyes f the woman are looking at the camera. The close up nature of the image lets us see all the piercings clearly and I like the incusion of the bamboo cane
