Very cool composition. Poor editing, like the black bulge in the top left does slightly take away from the images impact as it may have been rated much higher. Still a great shot, but for further use of this image, edit it.

Wow. The focus on the girl with her innocent gaze makes this a wonderfully captured moment in time. This photo gives us hope and brings a new meaning to subject focus in street photography. Amazing job, very very very close 2nd place.

I am a big believer in using light to bring an image to life. This is exactly what this capture does. From the smoke to the temple, to the subject within it, this photo is a well deserving podium. Very unique in comparison to many other entries, great job!

Composition is very very important in street photography, and while there is no real one subject in focus, the composition allows us to navigate the image from a larger lens. The light glaring through the building also causes a stark shadow and adds to the emotional effect of the photo, well done.

The composition of this image is my favorite out of all photographs submitted. The white concrete against the shadows of the 4 boys playing takes me back to my childhood, when we would do the same. The high angle is a very considerate and artistic choice. Amazing work!

Great use of light and overhead composition! The cone like shape with the man starting at the beginning of it is a beautiful use of composition light. The subject itself is both unique and a great piece to the puzzle of this picture.

I have seen this photo receive first for another street photography challenge and there is no doubt why. The subject peeking through the glass, the rays of light from the smoke, the centered compositon of the image, brings it all together to be a worthy podium photo. Very much encapsulates the beauty and chaos of New York.

This is by far the best up-close shot out of all of the entries. The detail on his face brings the image to life, and his expression speaks a million words. His battered clothes, unique hand, and dead blank stare leaves the viewer in awe. Beautifully done.

Although I have seen a few images of this exact location, this was the best and had the coolest composition with the 3 subjects. Grain is used effectively to bring the image to life, and the focus lies within the entire photo.

This photograph looks like a capture out of a 1970's black and white niche film that leaves you looking at the world differently. Treading into the unknown---with only a car, some bamboo, and a dream. Also, a great use of the rule of thirds. Good job!!
