There are tons of great images in this competition but I just kept coming back to this one time and time again. Moraine Lake is an unbelievably popular place to shoot but it's rare that we see a shot that's different and so full of mood and atmosphere. I love the look of this, it's framed really well and feels really balanced. Great shot :)
This is the second Moraine Lake shot in the top 10, I absolutely love this shot and I'm pretty sure it's been in the top 10 of another competition I've judged in the past which is a testament to the image. It's exposed wonderfully, and you've caught some truly beautiful conditions. It could do with a touch of counter-clockwise rotation as it's leaning to the right a bit but that's a minor point on an otherwise stunning photo.
I absolutely love this, it's a very well photographed location as I'm sure you're aware but for good reason! It's framed beautifully, the waterfall and stream lead your eye through the image nicely, and that sky with the flash of light on Tryfan is awesome! I'm glad you resisted the urge to whack the shadows up and left it moody, so often we see images that have been processed to death and look unnatural but this looks amazing, really nicely done.

The views from the summit of Passo Giau are nothing short of stunning! It's one of my favourite places to visit when I'm running tours there. I love this shot, the low cloud hugging Ra Gusela and the surrounding range is just magic. Nicely processed too, I quite like the deep shadows in the foreground and the bright atmospheric sky!

Landscapes that we visit often take our breath away. But managing to capture those views successfully with the camera takes great skill and patience, and usually with a few retouching skills thrown in as well nowadays. Landscapes from around the world are welcomed in this contest, and can be in colour or black and white, with or without people.

Cinque Terre is somewhere I'm yet to visit but every time I see photos it makes me want to go more and more, especially beautiful shots like this. The small coastal towns have an almost magical appearance and just beg to be photographed. Lovely colours in the sky and the long exposure looks spot on!
Simple and effective, a great example of when less can definitely be more. The contours of the hills work well to make your eyes almost float down the image to the tree. there's a real beauty in a winter landscape that just can't be achieved at any other time of year, and this shows that off perfectly. Great job :)
