Bridges make great subjects, especially for symmetry. this works very well and the mono conversion removes the distraction of the colour and allows us to see better the shape and form. Great image. I would be tempted to crop the bottom inch off the image to the point where the white of the structure leaves the frame. That said I did enjoy this image well done.
This image came so close, back and forth between the two I went. Highly original, beautiful colour and tones, great detail. Beautiful composition and super reflection symmetry. All that and taken on a phone. Well done. The one thing that dropped it to 2nd place for me was the point at which the tracks leave the image. If you changed the crop, and/or used the free transform tool and took the tracks to the corners of the image it would perfect this beautiful image. I am impressed this is a phone image.
Congratulations Sue. What a fantastic image. In this competition I was looking for four things, 1 Impact, 2 Composition & content, 3 Technical & 4 (and the most importantly) Originality This image has them all. But it does not end there, there's a surprise. When you view the image you instantly see the colour balloon, you can't help it. your eye then passes left or right and follows the hut to the pier and all the beautiful detail, taking you down to the corner, you have to cross to the other pier, you can't help it. It is at that point you spot the story, the trick that raises this image above the rest. The shadows of the people, the hand holding the line, you have to follow. And that takes you back to the balloon. Brilliant. Then you have to check the pier you didn't first time round in case you have missed something. then again it's the line straight back to the balloon. What a pleasure a figure of eight journey through this wonderful image.

Symmetrical subjects offer many opportunities for the photographer. They have an intrinsic intrigue all of their own, especially when they occur in nature, such as the wings of a butterfly. They also offer an interesting compositional challenge - they can be shot ’straight on’ so as to emphasise their symmetricality, or at a more acute and playful angle that may require a little more skill to pull off successfully.

Another brave image in symmetry. I commend you, great impact and a very strong challenging image. Mono again removes the distractions and makes us look at the shape form and details. A little more light in the eyes would have given us a better connection with the subject, perhaps lift that a little in post. Overall another strong image well done.
When I first saw this image I almost wanted it for my wall. So well taken and beautiful tones, and the square crop works very well. I love this. For this competition, and as it is architectural the imbalance of the clouds just throws it off a little. I would have been tempted for symmetry to have cropped it below the clouds. I would have been top 10 min. Such a beautiful image.
There are a couple of great drone images in this competition and this is one of them. Beautiful warm tones across the image and the lovely vertical repetitious lines of the crop are shattered by the strong diagonal white jets of water and the shadow. Personally, I think I would be tempted to try a square crop. it is a little heavy on the left pushing the sprayer a bit too central. and a free transforming the top edge to pull the vertical lines out to stop the slight convergence. But that's me being fussy. A very original and well-presented Image
Great image. you have handled the lighting of the white flower very well, no blown-out highlights detail in all the petals and the interest of the water droplets works well. as does the square crop. Personally, I would like to have seen the stem also in sharp focus, perhaps f18 would have brought that in. That said still a great image well done
I chose this image for its simplicity. A bench, that's it. But what the author has seen is what the designer wanted us to see. Graphic straight lines, warm tones, and the white of the bench. This is so simple, yet so difficult to photograph, you have to be perfect, and this feels just about spot on. Well done.
This is a very original image. I feel as if I am strapped to the front of a train. Great POV, great feel of movement, and of course great impact. If I was to offer any tips I would tone down the brightness of what I assume is the sun, and the image seems a little off-center, perhaps free transform to center it and a little work to bring the grey inner line into the corner point. But that is me being fussy. Great image well done.
