There is something very appealing in the starkness of this image, portraying a bleak-looking football field in a residential urban setting. In converting the image to black and white, the players are near-silhouetted against the ground. Many would have avoided including the goal's crossbar and netting in the front of the image, but for me that adds to the success of the shot. Great image, well done on your top ten placing.
