The Brightest Pink

Thank you for entering the competition. It is a very simple, but striking image. The composition is perfect in my eyes, with the positioning of the pink air-mattress diagonal and not completely in the frame. This image conjures up memories of summer holidays and leisuretime. The simplicity of the image is a great advantage and shows again that less is often more.

There is an elegance and sophistication about the photo and it shows again that less is more. The quality of the colours is outstanding and I love your angle of the shot, not full-frontal, but displaying the back and using the green of the stem as great colour contrast.

First of all thank you very much for your entry. It was one of the images which immediately captured my attention. It is so simple and therefore eyecatching - the large scissors dominate the image wonderfully. I wonder if it was the sign for a hairdresser's or barber's shop? Whatever it was, a great dicovery, brilliantly captured.

For the woman to have chosen the outfit and matching attire for the horse was genius - nobody can ignore them. She is absolutely irresistable.
