This was just what the brief asked for. "The darker side of beauty". Many women know the fear of being stalked or harassed. Some try to cover up with more clothes blaming themselves for being too tantalizing. This shows that there is indeed a darker side to beauty. The black and white with the stormy street background I feel showed the relentless pursuit of the male come rain or shine. Just a great photo!

Ah the relentless pursuit of science. Hardly questioning rather we should do something before figuring out if we can. Way to hit the brief right on the head! I love the DNA strands in the sunglasses and the jarred animals in the background as well as his blank expression. To me it says that knowledge is all that is on his mind and compassion is on vacation. Nice job!

I love this photo! Her intense gaze and the way the shadows play off her face leaves you wondering if she is the thing to fear or if she has been thru hell escaping the thing that is to be feared. The viewers brain can't help but make up a few different back stories for this woman. Perfect black and white with sublime shadowing!

I would love to know more about this photo. You really captured the brief with your subject matter! I just adore the little nest in the skull that I too to signify rebirth in the death, the "great circle of life", etc. The shadows on the nest could be taken as either a comforting nook you wish you could crawl into or kind of ominous. The photo makes you stop, think, and feel. Great capture!
