A really beautifully seen photograph and one that has been made in the viewfinder. The epic scale of the scenery is made by the positioning and posture of the girl against the dark waters edge within the bottom right of the frame. It totally makes the picture and elevates it into something really special and unique. It becomes other worldly and this is a technique that we can see in high end fashion magazines and travel brochures. Great exposure and the subtle dark blues work so well against the skin tones of the girl. I could imagine this as a giant print framed on a gallery wall. It's a fantastic image and one I'd be delighted to have on my own wall. Superb.

This is a great example of a picture that has so many different elements coming together to create the perfect image. The darkened brooding skies, the cliff top setting for the lighthouse and the white crashing waves against the darkened rocks make for a stunning visual photograph. It's beautifully crafted by the photographer and it is a picture I could stare at for hours. Looking at it on a screen does not do it justice and I could imagine this large on a gallery wall. The low camera position gives greater emphasis to the scene and really is a superb photograph. Well done.

This really stood out from the crowd of images of isolated seascapes looking out onto the horizon. The deep blue colors work well and the highlights hitting the dark waters work really well and add to the surreal feel that already exists with the amazing cloud formation sat above the line of the sea. It reminds me of the surrealist painter Rene Magritte. This picture almost too perfect, too strange to have been photographed. Sometimes we come across these photographic gifts but well done to the photographer for recognizing the opportunity and then having the skill to make this technically stunning and superb picture. It's great..
