What a wonderful shot of the sea blanketing a human construction to create a peaceful image that's pleasing to the eye. It's peaceful and yet the backstory of climate change is prescient and possibly foreboding.. A beautifully composed and wonderfully exposed shot as well. It works on many levels. The light on the water is subdued but shimmers perfectly.
I love the raw, powerful beauty captured in this wonderful image. Everything about this picture works for me. From the sharp sea foam to the mist coming off the left side. The viewer feels as if he/she is there. The use of a high shutter speed captures the energy perfectly. Black and white to simplifies the image to it's core natural beauty. Good composition and use of a medium depth of field.
