Trolley Buses and Trams

To say the least I was surprised when i saw this image. Everyone of these trolleys in the image i used to drive on a daily basis. To see the old trolleys, brought back so many memories, Vovlo B52 they were, the last generation of trolleys in Wellington and the only operating trolleys in New Zealand. The yellow trolley was a new new design, the vovlos were being scrapped and the running gear put into the yellow trolley that you see in the image. Unfortunately this only lasted a few years before all trolley buses were scrapped indefinitely. So to see this i was so surprised and enjoyed. For this it must be my number one. I have been away from there for 24 years and this is now a rear photo for Wellington, New Zealand. Thank you and it is very similar to the image that personally have the last time i was there.

I love the Trolley bus, one of my favorite vehicles to drive. Don't see many Trolley buses today in the southern hemisphere. Australia and New Zealand no longer have them. Trolleys operating in most places in Asia no longer have them, that used to that I'm aware of. I like the way the image was taken with the composition where you management to obtain most of the vehicle displaying the poles almost to full affect, i love the image. Thank you

I love the tram style from the European country's, so different from here in the southern hemisphere. The long elegant design of the tram. Its good to see these old trams and while over here in the southern hemisphere, they are short with a very different style. The angle that you captured lets the tram stand out in comparison to others that i have seen, I just like the way that you took the image, love it, Thank You

An old classic and where this was taken gives the impression of back in the old days of the 50's and early 60's back home in NEW Zealand. This reminds me a lot of the story's that my Grandmother used to tell as she was growing as a young married mum. I see this image and all these memories flutter back and if there is one thing i never had forgotten was my grandmother, she, the story teller. Beautiful capture, beautiful scene. Again another nice capture of composition in the image. Modern day trams and light rail are so very much the same and i think that the modern light rail car has taken the replacement of the new tram cars depending where you are. You captured a nice angle for the image, the background i feel compliments the the tram in a city scene. I also love the fact that you haven't edit much of the image keeping it as original as possible, great color through out. i like it a lot.

Awesome shot as a group of trams and trolleys together. I love the way that you composed the image with the old trolley beside the tram and then captured the trolley behind. The lighting inside the tram is spectacular, so vibrant, crisp and very clear standing the image into it's own showcase. What a really nice image, Love it, really admire it, Thank You.

What a really beautiful image, Tram traveling through the streets of a snowing white scene. You got the shot as if it is coming to you as it appears to approach a slight incline covered in snow. It reminds me of the type of Xmas that we don't have in the southern hemisphere. Really nice, Thank You for sharing this with me.

Wow, this i have never seen, is the new modern Trolley bus, It is good to see that country's still are putty on the new modern trolley, where others are not operating anymore, sad for that. I love the concept that you captured the tram and trolley together. Both of good age in fact the trolley reminds me of one that was in Wellington, New Zealand at a jubilee around 1998. this an all wooden body and was lucky enough to have a drive of this, very different from the today's trolleys. Absolutely adore your image. thank you.

I love the way that you captured the night scene as the tram comes up the street. Just the right amount of light to show the glow from the tram and the tracks that glisten in the night light. I love how the tracks stand out and compliments the tram in the night glow. I think if it was not for the vehicle behind the tram with heads light glowing the image would not have the same affect that it has. Love you image , Thank you.
