I love how the shadow of this image is the story, and not the bottle itself. The light shining through the blue of the glass adds a unique shape, almost like a "genie in a bottle". Technically speaking, the 4x5 crop was a good choice and the fact that the entire shadow is in the frame makes this a perfectly-composed photograph.
What drew me to this photo was the emotion that it carries. What was this man's day like? The way he is holding his hat makes me think that he had a hard day working, and took a brief moment to relax. The red color and atmosphere behind him add depth and drama that would not be there had he not been a silhouette. Technically-speaking, I really appreciate that the outline of the shovel is not intersecting with his legs. Well done!

I enjoy the simplicity of this photo, the minimalist nature of it with the flower reaching for the light coming through the window that is just off-camera. The addition of texture gives it a painted look, almost like it is painted on canvas. I think a slight crop might improve the composition, to push the vase more towards the top-left third line. This is a beautiful photograph that I can easily see as a large print hanging on a wall.

This image is very painterly, and the effect is gorgeous. I can see this hanging on a wall in a gallery! The composition is very nice, with the tree trunk slightly off-centered and along the right third-line of the photo. I think the only thing I would change is the slight pixelations of some of the leaves with the blue showing through; they don't quite match the smoothness of the other parts of the leaves. Nonetheless, it is very beautiful.

The clean lines and balance of this scene are what drew me to this photo. Everything is lined up beautifully, with the corner of the stairs matching up with the lower-right corner of the photograph. The photo continually makes me look all around it, going up and down the stairs, while the red and gray colors contrast beautifully with one another.
