Your image cheered me up no end! I absolutely adored it from the moment I saw it and I'm so glad that you entered it into the contest. That's what I would call 'catching the right moment'! These two seem a proper comedy act - wonderful.

What an amazing close-up shot - did they pose? You obviously caught them at the right moment at the right angle. The lighting is perfect and really brings out the beautiful detail of these elegant cats. You could almost forget that they are highly proficient predators, no cuddly pussycats. Thanks.

You must possess so much patience and determination, otherwise such amazing image wouldn't have been possible. Natural behaviour of wild animals is so difficult to catch, and this is surely a masterpiece. It looks as if the larger hare is the older one with pretty 'ropey' fur - fighting off a younger and fitter rival. How did it end? Thanks for such great image.

What a beautiful and emotional photo. The detail is amazing and the look in their eyes so expressive - who ever said that animals have no feelings!!! The water dropping down from the female's beak is the ultimate extra in this wonderful and expressive image. Congratulations on your win.
