Vehicles in their Environment

At first, I thought of a desaturation keeping only the red, which is a technique too often used. But it's a color photo ! So, the contrast between the bright color car and the traditional houses is striking. The picture shows much more than just a car.

If the sweeper had been in the other direction, the meaning of the image would be a little bit different. Here the cleaning machine can not erase our consciousness. Sooner or later, Human Rights and Child Rights violations will catch up with us. A very strong image that makes us to think. So, I still see here a glimmer of hope that one day these crimes will be punished. Thanks.

This photo shows wonderfully the power of these monsters of the road. The light is well controlled and the shadow on the cloud of dust increases the speed effect. We understand right away that we must not find ourselves on its way.

I have never been to Cuba, but with this picture I feel like I'm there. I like the contrast given by this old American car, the rickshaw and the workers on the sidewalk. A dynamic image that highlights these Cuban vehicles.
