Waterdrops in Close-Up

Thank you so much for entering this stunning image into the competition. It was an early entry and the first image I immediately put into my Top Ten. It became the benchmark for everything else I looked at and yet in my eyes it couldn't be beaten or bettered for it's striking composition, colour, lighting and overall simplicity and clarity. I couldn't have asked for a more worthy winner to my contest than this - congratulations to 1st place.

Let it be spring and sunshine - what a colourful and bright image. The overall composition is so effective with the background out of focus but in the same colour. I love the images of the little birds and the fact that the waterdrops are of different shape and size, which gives it even more interest. Thank you so much for entering this image.

Is it a leaf, an alien or a snake?? What an interesting and exciting image. There are other, more technically brilliant entries - but your choice of the object and the creativity and imagination needed for this composition are brilliant in other ways. I loved it from the first moment I saw it.
