What first drew me to this image was the awe inspiring colors. This scene looks straight out of a fairy tale and I was almost disappointed when I didn't see the man made object that nature had taken over. But upon further inspection that is indeed a bridge and nature has indeed done its job taking it over. Really enjoyed this image, thank you for your entry!

I would like to see your best photos of man-made objects being taken over by nature. This can be things like old cars with trees growing through them or maybe old buildings with vines; It is open to your interpretation. Photos can be in colour or black and white but please avoid over-editing and no composite images.
This image was by far one of the most unique photos in this contest making it an easy placement for first. Your editing is rather fantastic. I love the darkened edges helping to draw your eye to the piano. The colors are just what I was looking for this week. Thank you for your entry and congrats on first!
This image made it into the top ten for two main reasons. First the colors. I simply could not get over how amazing it was to see the sky match the sand, right down to the wisps in the sand and the wisps in the clouds. The second reason was the uniqueness of the image. I never considered sand being able to erase a road and was delighted by the thought. Thank you for your amazing entry!

I love the bold "nature finds a way" attitude of this image. The bricks are newer than a lot of the other images with plants growing out of rock and brick so to me it shows just how quickly nature can take the world back. I really like the pole leading you down into the dandelion too. Thanks for your entry :)
