Why I Love Lincolnshire

Lincolnshire is the home of the Reds and photographers are blessed by having them practice one of the best free shows you can get. I really like this image of the smoke with the planes crossing over along with the top one coming out of the blue.

To me this image shows the power of photography to some it may seem to be a simple image but to the ladies daughter it obviously brings back many happy memories, it deserves in my opinion to be highly commend.

This image works really well starting off with the super sky, I also feel the crop works really well and the figure in the bottom left hand corner add just the right amount of scale. A well thought out image.

I love everything about this starting off with the mono treatment with just the right amount of contrast moving on to the low angle along with the placement of the figures in the shot, the only shame is the figure behind the lamppost, if only you could have waited a few more seconds, nevertheless a great shot of Steep Hill.

Rightly or wrongly I assume this shot was taken at East Kirby on one of their photo nights, it's a terrific shot and you have managed to get all the tech details correct, I love the air crew on both sides of the plane, gives the image a nice balance.

I am guessing this is another shot from East Kirby by the same photographer, I just love the sky and the rotation of the propellers. Lets hope that one day soon "Just Jane" will once again take to the sky's.

Everything about this image appeals to me from the way the steam leads us up to tree and beyond, there is so much to explore, I love the late afternoon winter sunshine. It optimises our lovely Lincolnshire countryside and is a worthy winner. Many congratulations.

This is a really powerful image, I love the way the street light has lit up the trees, I can just imagine how cold it must have been and it shows you don't have to go far from home to get a great image.

I was hoping we would get an image of BBMF I like this image my only suggestion would be a crop to make it a letter box shape, and in future why not try a slower shutter speed to try and obtain some prob blur.
