Wildflowers Blooming in the Mountains

This photo is my "coup de coeur" and runs full speed into my imagination with all its wagons! The photo would be nice and match the topic without the train but it is the train which makes the difference because it takes me to a ride into a splendid, fresh and lush mountain landscape with bright summer colours. The many different green hues are enhanced by the vivid pink of the flowers. The landscape is peaceful but the train suggests a certain dynamic, underlined by the extended blurred line in the foreground flowers. I can also easily feel the delight of the all the people at the windows, looking out to this gorgeous mountains and valleys. I do appreciate the excellent quality of sharpness, joyous brightness of colours respecting all the many genuine hues. Thank you for participating in my challenge with such an outstanding photo!

Yes, this perfect combination of wildflowers and mountains is what I looked for! This peaceful and poetic photo invites me to leave immediately for such a place! I do love the sharpness on the meadow's details, extending to the top of the mountains., underlining the harmony between both.. This somewhat hazy mountains and overcast sky is the proof that there is no need to have a bright sunshine to catch the beauty of a landscape. The strong pink of the flowers pop up in the foreground and lead our way into the heart of the mountains. This poetic picture inspires me calm and serenity and I thank you for sharing it with us in my challenge!

Scottish mountains and moorlands are very different from the alpine landscapes mostly represented in this challenge. They have their own specificity and beauty, especially when extended spaces of nature are totally covered by blooming heather.. The classic and beautiful photo of the Tetons, enhanced by the typical golden balsamroot flowers! A kind of photo many would like to bring back from a vacation there.! I could regret that there is only one bunch of flowers but it is big enough and well shot. Placed in the middle of the picture, it leads to the highest and impressive summit of the range. To me this picture is like a poem and I do love each part of it, the juicy green meadows, the dolomitic crests, the delicate clouds and the blue eyes of the sky. And the flashing pink of the rhododendrons underlinig the whole! To me everything is perfect and I thank you for sharing this wonderful place with us!

A very friendly invitation to take an easy mountain path on a nice summer day, while the many pink fireweeds and cotton flowers say hello all along! Flowers and high rocky cliffs, as well as the blue lake locates this place in a kind of ideal landscape for a vacation!. Excellent composition and natural colours which I do highly appreciate!

To me this picture is a perfect illustration of the topic as I imagined it: a vast spot with flowers, in perfect osmosis with beautiful mountains.. At first sight I was surprised by the square format. But thinking again, in reducing the width and filling 2/3 of the square picture with the flowers leads the eyes onto what is important: the many nice tender blue wild irises, enhanced by the different geen hues of the grass. It leads to the mountains, their natural environment.
